Ingredients:
- Potato - 1/2 kg
- Bread Crumps
- Onion - 1 piece
- Green Chilli - 2-3 pieces
- Ginger - 1 thin piece
- Green Coriander - Small bunch
- Garam Masala - 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric - 1/2 tablespoon
- Cumin Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Oil - 1 cup
- Boil potatoes. Once soft, drain and let cool
- Smash the potatoes
- Chop finely onions, ginger and green chillies
- Add chopped coriander leaves, cumin and turmeric powder
- Add garam masala and salt to taste
- Add bread crumbs
- With oiled hands, divide it into 10-12 equal portions
- Roll them into balls and then flatten them into patties
- Heat 2-3 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan
- On medium heat, fry patties until nicely brown and crisp on both side
- Use a paper towel on a plate to dry off excess oil
- Serve with tomato sauce
